Jennifer Love Hewitt’s rep confirms exclusively to Usmagazine.com that Hewitt, 28, and boyfriend, Scottish actor Ross McCall, 32, are engaged to be married.

“They got engaged last week,” her rep tells Us. The couple is currently vacationing in Hawaii.

Nicely done, JLH. We wonder why JLH never caught on as a nickname for Jennifer Love Hewitt. It could be that it’s a lame nickname. For a while she insisted on friends calling her ‘Love.’ We would have been like, “No thank you, I’ll stick to Jenn or Jennifer.” In case you’re wondering who Ross McCall is, he was in the HBO miniseries Band Of Brothers and one episode of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s The Ghost Whisperer. Good effort, guy. Seth Green has probably been after that for years and you reeled her in after one episode. We ‘Can’t Hardly Wait’ for this wedding (we have to go out back and punch each other for that one). Is it just us or does Ross looks a lot like a cross between Mark Wahlberg and Scott Wolf?
