Ashlee Simpson To Get Dating Show

We’re not sure if this is 100% confirmed, but it looks like Ashlee Simpson is in talks to get a reality dating show to coincide with her next album release. Evidently, the family needs to take some of the heat off of Jessica and the Dallas Cowboys situation. And if that isn’t enough, the show’s working title is Lipsync Jungle (yes, groan). Father Joe Simpson does not want his kids to ever have to worry about money and he would prefer not to have to work a 9-to-5 again. The only snag we can see in this problem is Ashlee’s boyfriend. Well, it didn’t stop Tila Tequila from having a wildly successful dating show. And we’ve heard that Joe never has really warmed to the eyeliner-wearing Pete Wentz. If things go south with Tony Romo, Jessica might get a dating show titled There’s Plenty Of Chicken In The Sea.

Yep, do you ever think that Joe (like another Simpson, possibly Homer) only embarrasses his family because he loves them so much? Yeah, we do too.
