Oasis Frontman Liam Gallagher Married

The star of the band Oasis, Liam Gallagher, was married on Valentimes (it’s intentional) to long-time girlf Nicole Appleton. The wedding was a small affair with only a few friends and family in attendance including Liam and Nicole’s son Gene and his ex-wife Patsy Kensit and their son Lennon. Liam’s rival/ brother (Noel Gallagher) was notably missing from the nuptials. The event took place at London’s Westminster Register Office.

Like everything with Oasis, the British were whipped into a mad frenzy and Americans thought it was okay to pretty good. We’re not sure how the US and the UK are this divergent on Oasis. England thinks that they’re the next Beatles and America would flip a coin between them and Cold Play. What American band would instill that kind of national love and English nonchalance? Is it Bon Jovi? Is it the Red Hot Chili Peppers? Is it some jam band like Phish or Widespread?

And if you want another instance of something that America just doesn’t get, Nicole was previously married to Robbie Williams. Is he the British Michael Buble? John Tesh? Usher? Justin Timberlake? John Legend? All five?
