science daily, genes, dna, attractionA new study suggests that choosing a mate may be partially determined by our genetic code. Research published in Psychological Science has found a link between a set of genes involved with immune function and whom you find attractive and ultimately choose as a long-term mate.

Says sciencedaily.com:
“As the proportion of the couple’s shared genotypes increased, womens’ sexual responsivity to their partners decreased…”

Romantic? Not so much. But fascinating? For sure.
