A famous club in Denver is now at the center of allegations of gross (eww) impropriety. The Denver Club is where many of Denver’s elite go to chillax and enjoy a game or two of squash. Now a hooker is alleging that the men did more than chillax and squash it up. According to her, the place was a den of drugs and orgiastic sexcapades.
Why is this sex worker trying to quash the squash? We’re guessing it’s to escape prosecution related to the closing of two Denver-area escort services (Denver Players and Denver Sugar). Very clever naming there in Denver; too bad that Bob Denver and John Denver aren’t available for comment. And everyone knows that enthusiastic DAs would much rather nail an expensive hide to the wall than a cheap one.
Is she telling the truth? Who knows? But this does highlight another danger of doing dirty deeds. If you’re into the drug or hooker scene, always use cash (Jerry Springer learned that one the hard way). It’s almost impossible to pick prints off of it. Next, don’t have them come to your place (home or office). It’s gauche and a good way to get caught (thank you, Marion Berry). Though you may feel some special kinship to a sex worker or dealer, keep it as a business relationship. The more they know about you, the likelier it is that they’ll roll over on you if they get pinched (Heidi Fleiss taught us that). Try to avoid mixing the drugs and the sex workers. It’s a good way to get robbed or have your kidneys jacked. And if you’re famous (especially locally) something will eventually come to light. So, follow a few simple rules, sprinkle in a bit of luck and you may avoid embarrassing your friends and family, but you probably won’t.
