Oregon Man Is Pregnant
A tale of gender-blurring proportions.

Thomas and Nancy Beatie moved to Oregon from Hawaii a couple years ago. They run a successful business, own a home and are expecting their first child, a girl, in July. And then there’s the rub: Thomas, not Nancy, will be the one delivering the baby.
Thomas’ story ignited across the Web last week after Thomas published an essay on advocate.com. His impending maternity/paternity leave challenges our notions of gender roles and societal norms, and generally induces a bit of head shaking. Wait a minute – the transgender Thomas still has girl parts? Yep. He decided to keep ‘em during his reassignment process years ago and was – clearly – successful in restarting his period after years of female hormone suppression.
Thomas is legally both male and married to Nancy. He certainly looks the part, too, with a flat chest and facial hair, thanks to surgery and testosterone therapy. His six-month baby bump might otherwise pass for a well-fed beer belly, if Thomas weren’t the unabashedly proud father/mother-to-be that he is, even in the face of judgment from the likes of family members and doctors.
Once upon a time, surrogate motherhood and same-sex adoption likely blew away firmly held beliefs about reproduction and family. In the future, when pregnancy news is delivered, will “Who’s carrying?” be a common follow-up question to “When are you due?”

My comment is specifically in response to Frydaddy’s: if two individuals are choosing to define happiness for themselves in a way that intentionally harms no one, but is in fact done in the name of love and peace, why must they be condemned?
History has show that those who cast the first stone often prove to be least righteous, not to mention trapped in a bubble of small-minded prison, so I would urge you to take a deep breath and view the world outside of what you know, feel and, I know it’s challenging, understand.

This militant lesbian has furthered the argument against tolerance by parading “itself” before the world with shameless perversion promotion.
The un-natural behavior of a same sex advocate under the knife of Dr. Frankenstein was not suffecient deviancy for this unrestrained freak. No, this ridiculous destroyer of society actually expects to be lauded for it’s dementia.
As this type of behavior continues among these twisted souls, the truth of those speaking against degenerate lifestyles will be evident to all but the twisted themselves.
The trouble with being open minded, is that any sick inclination can and is considered useful even beyond norms of right/wrong where common sense is suspended in favor of sodomite fantasies of a world free of morality.
Truth is, these freaks are as destructive to our society as any weapon of mass destruction because they undermine the very fabric of America with a malignancy which hopes to spread throughout the whole of civilization.
Yea, that’s right…….. got it.
