Sure, finding a sexy man to marry is ideal. But it could cost you your happiness down the road. According to new research at the University of Tennessee, husbands who were better looking than their wives were more likely to be unhappy with the marriage and offered their partners less emotional and practical support. The “ugly husbands,” though, tended to be more supportive.
Psychologists are tracing the findings back to evolutionary traits: Men who are more attractive have more mating opportunities and feel like they’re missing out.
Women on the other hand, aren’t as selective—or unhappy. Apparently, if men make themselves useful, they’re a-okay.
The findings were published in the Journal of Family Psychology, but you can read more about it at The Daily Record.

I love when science confirms instinct. This is SO TRUE. Just emailed this to every woman I know. Looks really DON’T matter.
