McCartney Pickup Lines Are Pretty Bland

Sir Paul really used a doozy of a chat up line to break the ice with Linda.

by Tom Miller

Paul McCartneyPaul McCartney, commemorating the 10th anniversary of Linda McCartney’s death, made public the line that he used to hook her; “I’ve lost my pants, can I borrow yours?” That’s not what he said. He said, “My name’s Paul. What’s yours?” Yep, that was it. In hindsight, it was a pretty good line. Had he said, “I’m the leader of the Beatles,” she would have probably assumed that he was John Lennon. At least he didn’t say, “I find that the love you take is equal to the love you make, wouldn’t you agree?”

We’re pretty sure that that dude Neil Strauss is punching a hole in a wall somewhere. A line like that is not supposed to work, according to Rules Of The Game. Seduce and destroy experts insist sincerity and candor may work for some people, but are not ideal for your average dude. Then again, none of the chumps that Mystery teaches are exactly legendary rockstars or celebs (Parker Lewis and David Faustino, included).

According to TurnTo23.com McCartney had some veiled insults for Heather Mills by way of comparison to Linda’s personality. Way to turn the screw, Sir Paul. Now we have to hear her absurd retort.
