While I am actually an advocate of polyamory, i can’t support this guy for the simple fact that he acts as though he knows what he’s saying but incorrectly defines “polygamy.” Polygamy is not the practice of a man having many wives, that’s polygyny. Polygamy is the practice of having many spouses and is gender neutral. Polyandry is the practice of a woman having many husbands. If you’re gonna advocate it, get it right!

I’m not sure that anyone is objecting to this guy’s lifestyle, per se. It’s just the way he reacts with her, the way he describes himself, and his general demeanor. What a dink.

Why is he a douche bag? Because you’re assuming that the women he is with don’t like what he’s doing, instead of that they are doing the same thing. Sex isn’t dirty. People who like sex and are open about their lifestyle may not be for you, so don’t date them. But to judge them as bad just because they want multiple partners is really self-limiting.

I’m 43 and in loving relationships with two women. In addition, we’ve met an enormous number of dependable, accepting, and open-minded folks to boot!
