Gossip Girl Set Is A Place To Meet Guys

Per Digital Spy, it’s possible that there is another Gossip Girl on-set romance a-brewin’. Leighton Meester (or Blair Waldorf) was seen making out with Sebastian Stan. You may know Stan as the loathsome Carter Baizen. You may recall that Carter scammed Nate Archibald out of some money on a crooked game of cards and then hasn’t been seen much since. Not too long ago, Meester was rumored to be getting frisky with Chace Crawford (Nate), pretty boy extraordinaire. She denied the rumor but he’d just broken up with Carrie Underwood (via text) and may have been ready to rumble.

On top of that is the ongoing life mirroring art relationship between (Dan Humphrey and Serena van der Woodsen on the show, respectively). And wasn’t there a rumor that Chace was dating Michelle Trachtenberg (the evil bitch Georgina Sparks)? What is it about Gossip Girl that inspires the cast to keep it in house? Is it the salacious subject matter (OMFG indeed)? Is it that they’re a bunch of teens and 20-somethings earning a bunch of money in New York with minimal parental supervision? Is it that there are so few shows (particularly about teens) filmed on the East Coast? Maybe the CW should just be glad that it is such an incestuous gang. This way they can just brush the pregnancies, drug problems, and hurt feelings under the rug and keep bringing us this fine entertainment (not that we Gossip Girl or anything).
