About Pauline Jennings

Pauline Jennings Author of Tango Love Blogs For Married Women

This busy gal from Minnesota still stands in awe at how profound marriage can be. Pauline Jennings lives Northfield, Minnesota – a bedroom community 40 miles south of Minneapolis. She has two growing-up-too-fast teen-agers, and a husband of 6 years, Steve. Do the math and you see that Steve is step-father to the kids. As a way of putting cash in the coffers and getting her children health insurance, Pauline works as Director of Purchasing at a manufacturing company. This means she is comfortable with the world of circuit boards and electronic components, stamped metal brackets, many forms of plastic forming, and hardware (she knows the difference between a socket head cap screw and a flathead sheet metal screw). The glamour of her job is sometimes overwhelming…

When she’s lucky, she gets to sing and/or act in her spare time. She has been in a handful of bands ranging from a rock/country cross-over group that played in casinos (Rock Star!) and bars to a trio composed of three women who played small taverns and coffee houses. In 2000 this group, Dame Station, released a CD of their original tunes. Her acting gigs are few and very far between. Even though this is where her passion lies, the time commitment makes it mostly un-doable for her.

Pauline met and married her prince, her soul mate, her knight, her tall drink of water and stands in awe at how profound a marriage can be. Happily with Steve, her thirst for passion is quenched while off the stage. Two things she has learned about marriage are 1) No matter how close you are with someone, or how you can sense what they feel/think/know…you still CANNOT read the other’s mind and 2) you and your partner should honestly and deeply “dig” the essence of each other.
