Why Them? Because if they entertain each other half as much as they entertain us, they're one lucky couple.

One half is Everywoman’s comedienne, making “gay” a mere afterthought, whether she’s hosting the 2007 Oscars or her talk show. The other, even blonder half was one of the comic geniuses behind Arrested Development (R.I.P.). Together, they are one of the most captivating celebrity couples, mainly because this beautiful, brainy twosome to be reckoned with gives us the impression that what we’re seeing is really them. No Hollywood hijinks, no tabloid fodder—just plain affection and adoration.

As de Rossi once told The Advocate, “I ran into Ellen at a photo shoot [in 2004], and she took my breath away. That had never happened to me in my life, where I saw somebody and [experienced] all of those things you hear about in songs and read about in poetry. My knees were weak.”

Wed-Locked: DeGeneres has mentioned several times that the couple would be married if it were legal for them to do so, calling out the “scaredy-cats” who stand in their way on her show. We’re happy to cat-call alongside her.
